The Z-600 Communication Controller enables the integration of telephones into distributed audio systems. In simple terms, you will be able to pick up a phone and page any room in the house through the in-zone speakers. You may choose to page all zones simultaneously if required. In addition, when an incoming call is received, any music is automatically muted, and the volume will automatically ramp up when the call is terminated. Additional features allow you to control door latches, and activate relay-controlled devices such as garage door openers from any phone.

The DSC2000 Door Station integrates perfectly with the Z·600. It incorporates a loudspeaker, a sensitive microphone which will pick up conversations from up to 20 feet away, and a high-res, low -lux colour cctv camera.

Your Elan system can be configured so that when the doorbell rings, the image from the cctv camera is automatically routed to any VIA! touch panel, TV or monitor. You can pick up any phone to communicate with the person at the door, and release the electronic latch if you choose to do so.
